Hold of the Year and Technical Design Excellence in Concept Award Winner (2008)Īdvanced Concepts - I made the Goblins, Fegundos, Eyes and Potions levels Layout and Aesthetics Award Winner (2006):įigure or Ground (Multi-entrance room maze) Winner of the Erik Hermansen Award for Lifetime Architectural Achievement (2008) (8-9 with the caveat I have significant chunks left unplayed)īonus round! Solid puzzlers on the NES: Adventures of Lolo games, Fire 'n Ice, Alter Ego (homebrew). I have reasonable programming skills but don't (*I like all I've tried, but their open-endedness can make them a bit less exciting for me. (e.g., your favorite version of Sokoban or Atomix) Thanks!! However, I would *love* to hear about older games with depth comparable to these or DROD. (I am just now coming back to DROD after long absence.) I've played puzzle games since the '90s, but I was a kid and didn't exactly keep records so below are my faves from the Steam era, in rough preference order starting from the best. I'm looking for logic games that stand the test of time and provide a real challenge.
